Bronx Lacrosse Recent Highlights

With spring season underway, here’s a look back at our recent fun-filled, in-person programming where our student-athletes improved their math skills, learned from some of the best lacrosse players and coaches in the world and had fun with their teammates. Read below for exciting highlights:

Spring Events

Spring is in full swing at Bronx Lacrosse! Participants spend their weekends traveling around the tristate area to Westchester, CT, and NJ to play against top level talent on regulation sized fields, learn from some of the top coaches and high school players in the country, and gain exposure to communities outside of the Bronx. We are having a blast and cannot wait for our NYC Middle School Athletic League games to begin!

College Opportunities

Bronx Lacrosse boys had the incredible opportunity to attend clinics at West Point Military Academy and Kean University and welcomed Tufts University to the Bronx for a clinic. The girls had the chance to visit Manhattan College and catch a Division I game. Participants got to meet members of the teams and get autographs and take pictures with some of the best in the game while being exposed to colleges. 

Bronx Lacrosse Participants Attend Riptide Game

This winter, Bronx Lacrosse participants were invited to watch the National Lacrosse League Riptide team play at the Nassau Coliseum. This was an incredible opportunity to see the game played at the highest level and inspire student-athletes to pursue lacrosse dreams. We got to visit the home team’s locker room, meet players from the team and receive autographs to bring home, and listen to a speech from members of the team. Bronx Lacrosse even got a shout out on the jumbo-tron!

Bronx Lacrosse Represented at Stock Exchange

Athletes Unlimited, the women’s professional lacrosse league, invited participant Jaylin to ring the closing bell with them at the New York Stock Exchange! This invitation came as a result of our growing partnership with Athletes Unlimited, and was an incredible experience for Jaylin.

Cardinal Hayes

Our high school boys representing Cardinal Hayes are off to a spectacular start this season! Led by Bronx Lacrosse Director of Lacrosse Dwayne Stewart, the boys have dominated much of their games and are challenging themselves against top competition across the city and Westchester. We can’t wait to watch them continue to grow throughout the season!

Bronx Lacrosse Happy Hour

Join us at the annual Bronx Lacrosse Happy Hour on May 3rd, 2023 6:00-8:00pm. This year’s venue is the beautiful Leonard Lounge of 545 Madison Avenue.
