Bronx Lacrosse is excited to launch our inaugural Associate Board. The founding Associate Board is a passionate group of young professionals who will strengthen Bronx Lacrosse programs through mentorship, fundraising, and event planning while broadening their professional and social networks. We’re excited to launch this group with five individuals who are already heavily involved in the organization. Read below to find out more about each of our founding members:

Blair Friedensohn

Blair Friedensohn has been a long-time supporter of the Bronx Lacrosse Program, volunteering his time year-round as a coach and camp counselor. Prior to joining the Bronx Lacrosse Program, Blair served on the Coaches Committee and Associate Board for KEEN NY (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now), serving disabled youth in the New York Metro Area. Originally from Boston, MA, Blair graduated from Dartmouth College in 2016 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and earned Academic All-Ivy honors for the Men’s Lacrosse Team. He has since worked in the investment banking industry, using Bronx Lacrosse coaching to unplug. Blair has an immense passion to develop our youth players both on and off the field, leveraging the power of lacrosse to build character and instill a relentless work-ethic. When Blair is not working, he enjoys golfing, skiing, running, musicals, football, and family time.

Emily Krupnick

Emily Krupnick is a Grants Analyst on the Grants & Contributions Management Team at the Citi Foundation. She is responsible for grant administration, as well as data reporting and database management. Emily graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Haverford College in 2020, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Religion. At Haverford, she was the captain of the women’s lacrosse team and earned All-Centennial Conference and Academic All-Centennial Conference honors. Emily has been involved with Bronx Lacrosse since 2021. Emily is excited to bring her nonprofit and corporate philanthropy experience to the Associate Board. She looks forward to using her position to help support the program, develop the game of lacrosse, and serve the South Bronx community.

John Ranagan

John Ranagan is an Account Executive at Cohesity, where he works in the Major Financial Services sector. Mr. Ranagan is a native of Yorktown, New York, where he was a two-time All-American for Yorktown High School and received the same honor again at Johns Hopkins University. He has played for 7 years in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), where he was a 2017 World Champion and the 2019 Teammate of the Year. John has played professional field lacrosse for 10 years in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and Professional Lacrosse League (PLL) and was also a member of the 2019 USA National Indoor World Team in British Columbia, Canada. He is the current captain for Chrome LC in the PLL and an avid supporter of Bronx Lacrosse, leading clinics for our student-athletes while serving as an inspiration and role model.

Lindsey McKone

A graduate of Northwestern University with a B.A. in Communications, Lindsey McKone completed a M.S. in Data Science while competing for the Northwestern women’s lacrosse team. As a member of the team, she was a 2X Big-10 champion, 2X All-American, and played in 2 Final Fours. She currently competes for Team Israel and Athlete’s Unlimited, where she serves as the Co-Chair of the Player Executive Committee. Lindsey currently works for a sports technology company, Parity, who works solely with elite female athletes to get them sponsorship deals and close the gender pay gap in sports. Lindsey started volunteering with Bronx Lacrosse as soon as she moved into New York City.  Bronx Lacrosse combines Lindsey’s love for lacrosse and her work to champion female athletes from a young age.
